MEDIA ADVISORY – Five Years of consultation with Michipicoten First Nation on Wind Farm

SAULT STE. MARIE ON, Oct. 2, 2012 – Last week the Northern Superior
Chiefs passed a resolution opposing the Bow Lake Wind Farm project
near Montreal River on the basis that Michipicoten First Nation was
not adequately consulted about it.

The Bow Lake Partners and Batchewana First Nation maintain the
position that there has actually been five years of consultation and
that the process continues.

Batchewana First Nation will host a press conference to clarify this
position and provide facts about the Bow Lake wind farm engagement and
accommodation process to date.
