AIAI TO HOST PROVINCIAL ELECTION TOWN HALL AT FRIENDSHIP CENTRE
London, ON– In an effort to foster wider public awareness and knowledge of First Nation issues as Ontario heads to the polls, the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians (AIAI) will host a town hall with London area party candidates and First Nation citizens. The party representatives are:
- New Democratic Party, Jeff Buchanan, candidate
- Ontario Liberal Party, Chris Bentley, MPP
- Ontario Progressive Conservative Party, TBA
- Green Party of Ontario, Kevin Labonte, candidate.
Candidates for London will be asked to share their parties’ visions for working with First Nations for the benefit of all Ontarians. This event will be a moderated Q and A-style discussion and will be streamed live via Nation Talk. First Nations citizens, their leadership, media, and the public are cordially invited to attend.
